Privacy Policy
Santo's Clipper is operated by MonthlyPlug Products LLC, doing business as Santo's Clipper ("we", "us"). It turns long-form video into short-form clips and publishes them to social accounts you connect. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and how to get a copy of it or have it deleted.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, and a one-way hash of your password (never the password itself).
- Connected accounts: when you connect TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitch or Whop, we store the access tokens those services issue, plus the account ID, username or Page name, and the permissions you granted.
- Your content: videos you import or channels you ask us to monitor, and the clips, transcripts, captions and thumbnails we generate from them.
- Brands and goals: the brand names you create, the growth goals you choose, and any numbers you enter.
- Performance data: views, likes, comments, shares, follower and subscriber counts, and watch-time figures that connected platforms report for your accounts.
- Billing: your plan, subscription status, and payment dates and amounts. Payments are handled by PayPal: we receive a subscription or transaction ID and the payer email, never your card or bank details.
- Technical data: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and standard server logs (IP address, request times, errors) used for security and debugging.
How we use it
- To run the service: download, transcribe, clip, caption and store your videos, and publish or schedule them to the accounts you connected.
- To show your analytics and progress toward your goals.
- To bill your subscription and to provide support.
- To secure the service, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, use it for advertising, or let others use it for their own purposes.
AI processing
To find the best moments and write captions, your video's audio and transcript, clip titles, and (for Whop campaigns) the campaign's brief are sent to our AI providers (currently OpenAI) through their business API, which processes it only to return results to us. Under their API terms, data sent this way is not used to train their models.
YouTube API Services
Santo's Clipper uses YouTube API Services to upload clips to your channel, read your channel's basic details and video statistics, and check your uploads for new videos to clip. By connecting YouTube you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. We store your YouTube access tokens (encrypted), channel ID and name, and the IDs and view counts of videos we posted for you; we delete them when you disconnect YouTube or delete your account, and stored statistics are refreshed or deleted within 30 days. You can revoke Santo's Clipper's access at any time from Google's security settings.
Who we share it with
- The platforms you publish to (TikTok, Meta, Google/YouTube and others), only when you publish or schedule to them.
- Service providers that run the service for us: hosting and database, cloud file storage, speech-to-text and AI providers, and PayPal for payments. They process data only on our instructions.
- Legal: when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and property of our users or others.
Connected-platform data
Tokens are encrypted at rest and used only for the actions you request. We ask for the narrowest permissions each feature needs. Disconnecting an account in Settings deletes its tokens immediately; you can also revoke access from the platform's own settings at any time. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is open. You can delete individual videos and clips at any time. When you delete your account, your data is removed within 30 days, apart from billing records we must keep for tax and accounting law. Backups are cleared on their normal rotation.
Your rights and choices
- Access and portability: download a copy of your data from Settings → Your data.
- Deletion: delete your account from Settings → Your data, or see how to delete your data.
- Correction: update your details in Settings, or email us.
- Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU/UK), you may have more rights, such as objecting to processing. Email us to use them. We won't treat you differently for doing so.
Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in, and store a few interface preferences (such as which brand you last selected) in your browser. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest for platform tokens, hash passwords, and limit staff access. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we'll tell you as the law requires.
Children
Santo's Clipper is not for children under 13 (or the higher minimum age where you live) and we don't knowingly collect their data.
International users
We operate from the United States, so your data may be processed there.
Changes
If we make material changes we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app or by email.
